The Hűvösvölgyi road curved track reconstruction project included track construction, upgrading of the overhead electrical network and extension and modernisation of the power supply network, carried out by Colas Alterra. The project included the reconstruction of 738 m of modern concrete track with a concrete superstructure, the construction of 1800 m of traction cable and the necessary substructure systems, the construction of almost 3000 m of overhead contact line and its support system, the construction of 8 track gauge installations in the curves to extend the life of the track and reduce the noise impact.

Technical data: on the tram line 56/56A/59B/61, between the Heinrich István út stop and Hűvösvölgy terminus, the section of track to be rebuilt is located between sections 56+15,00 – 60+00,00.
