Siófok sewage treatment plant - Colas Alterra
Siófok sewage treatment plant
Siófok’s new sewage treatment plant is currently being constructed by the SIÓ 2014 Consortium on the banks of the Sió Channel. The organisation – uniting EuroAszfalt and Colas Alterra – signed the corresponding contract with the Association of Local Governments for the Improvement of Sewage Treatment in the Southern Balaton Region.

The investment covers both the old and the new treatment plants. At the old facility, our assignment specifies the construction of a new transfer device and a lightweight-structured bar screen house, along with solving the communication between the two plants. According to the schedule, these work phases will go ahead in 2016. The new sewage treatment plant will be established 2 kilometres east of the old facility, and the construction already started on this location on 6 March 2015.
