Following a several-year-long permitting procedure, this summer saw production relaunched in our Egerbakta plant. The blasted debris is being processed with a mobile jaw crusher – meanwhile, we are working to gather experience regarding the processing and marketing of the material. The Egerbakta mining site was founded on one of Hungary’s top-quality basalt deposits, thus quarried stone material is suitable for the construction of high-durability asphalt and concrete pavements, and high-speed railway tracks. The raw material has a distinct green colour that makes it ideal for application in coloured asphalt mixes.
