The annual National Traffic Days – the most anticipated and largest event regarding Hungarian infrastructure – was held between 5-7 November in Siófok. Traditionally, the conference is organised by the Hungarian Transport Administration, and this year’s programme maintained the high standards established in previous years.
In addition to speakers from major entities in the industry (state administration and associated organisations), non-governmental associations, universities, and local authorities also played an active role in the discussions.
Zoltán Puchard, the Colas Group’s technical director, held an outstanding presentation on behalf of the Hungarian Road Society – as head of the Research and Innovation Committee – concerning revolutionary changes themed around “Sustainable Roads”.
Besides several excellent lectures, the event proved to be a splendid opportunity for the professional community to discuss pressing issues and make acquaintances. We hope every guest got a glimpse into the current state of Hungarian infrastructure construction, the changes shaping up, and courses of development.
